What song should I play for my jazz audition?

My instrument is guitar.

I'm looking for something that demonstrates ability (speed) and chordal knowledge. I would prefer something that the jazz instructor hasn't heard one hundred times.|||Check these out :

I would recommend arranging a blues/rhythm tune, and adding in subs and stuff to show your chordal knowledge (which is NOT just knowing what a Cmaj7 is, it is knowing what to, or what can be played over a Cmaj7). Add in some sick licks every here and there. Keep the rhythm's simple and in the pocket.

If it is for a big band or something, this is likely what they are looking for. If it is for a school they are looking to make sure you are not a waste of time, and if you nail the simple things, they will be impressed. More impressed than if you tried to play like Trane over Giant Steps, unless you can pull it off.|||Blues By five

Blue Tango

CHICAGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!鈥?br>

His Honor|||"That's all"-Roy Haynes tune. Works great as a Samba.

Devil May Care. There's a slammin' version on Diana Krall's Live in Paris.

Caldonia. Woody Herman, many recordings.|||Money - Pink Floyd
