I am doing a little presentation on contemporary Jazz artists, and Omar was the first that came to mind. The song can be from The Mars Volta or any of his other bands, I just need a very jazz influenced or jazz-fusion song by him.|||"Boiling Death Request a Body to Rest Its Head On" from his solo album Se Dice Bisonte, No B霉falo is heavily influenced by jazz. In addition to the album I already mentioned, you may want to look into the albums The Apocalypse Inside of an Orange, Calibration, and Old Money to find a good song for your presentation.|||yay! someone else out there likes him as much as i do!
i would have to say that asilos magdalena, el ciervo vulnerado and day of the baphomets, all from the amputechture album (mars volta), would have to be the more jazz-influenced ones. you might also like tetragrammaton-its 17 minutes long, and has some jazzy passages.
