I often think of how much better some jazz albums would sound if the acoustic bass was replaced with electric bass.|||Get Al diMeola with Stanley Clarke. This is one heckuva bass player and so is the guitarist and the violinist. You will get your moeny's worth.

But Try Looking for Trios like this if this is a style you like: I know I got some other examples that offer electric solid body bass, maybe I see it later.
You know I am know "album" animal, and in a lot of cases, requesting a album, makes it difficult to properly answer. Way to many great musical pieces could be on a lesser praised album.
