What types of music has jazz influenced?

I am researching jazz and have not found what other types of music it has influenced.





Thanks in advance|||Anyone who says jazz has influenced all styles of music would be correct. It even made an impact on orchestral music, i.e. "Rhapsody in Blue" (Gershwin). Rock and blues can trace their roots from jazz as well. Jazz changed the face of music as we know it. Without jazz, today's musical landscape would be completely different. I could go on, but it is difficult to sum up an entire 3 credit class in the confines of this forum. If you have any more music related questions, feel free to contact me.|||I think it's influenced in rock. Jazz was usually played with a guitar as well. It was used to give this blues tune. Like B. B. King and many more guitar players who specialized in jazz and blues. Rock I guess formed after someone started to develope it more into a harder and edgier sound.|||Jazz has pretty much influenced every type of music in some way or another after it's creation





Rock, Pop, musicals, rap, electronic, techno- you name it.|||broadway show tunes have probity been influenced the most by jazz.|||Christmas Music
