What are some good Classical artists and Jazz artists?

I'm trying to listen to other types of music other than rock and pop music and their sub genres. I thought I'd try more classical and Jazz music only I know pretty much nothing about the two.|||Sample works by John Coltrane, Dave Brubeck and Miles Davis.|||Micheal Buble, Norah Jones|||You can't go wrong with these artists:

Nicolo Paganini, J.S. Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Debussy, John Coltraine, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker.

These artists are a good start.

Enjoy!!!|||For classical music, try some Beethoven or Mozart. Their works are recognizable, easily accessible and are a good intro to classical music.|||For jazz I like the old school, Stan Getz, Dave Brubecks', "Time Out" is excellent,,,, Cannonball Adderley, Count Basie, Chick Corea, Henry Mancini,,,there are so many.

For classical, I like Bizet, Carman is fantastic. Strauss if you want to dance, Wagner, Mozart,,,Ravel is cool, considered a jazz influenced classical artist. His "Bolero" will get you up moving, starts slow but ends with a bang.|||Classical

Emma Kirkby -- a pure voice like a little bird

Bryn Terfel- big man, big operatic voice !

Maria Callas - only woman singer to really earn the title 'diva'

Alfie Boe - gorgeous light tenor

Jazz

Ella Fitzgerald - class

Peggy Lee

Cleo Laine - good Brit

Nina Simone - sultry, sexy
