Does the Glasgow Jazz festival make the city unpleasantly crowded?

There are still hotel rooms left in Glasgow during the jazz festival. But are there large crowds that make it difficult to get seated in a restaurant, difficult to find a cab, create long lines at attractions, etc? How important is it to avoid Glasgow during this festival if one doesn't want to have a vaction-ruining crowd level?|||Its all mainly in Merchant City, if you dont like JaZZ, avoid.|||No. It is not that big a thing.
